Privacy notice

YELME MAP has no accounts, no cookies and no advertising. Your scenarios stay in your own browser. Visits are only counted, with cookie-free analytics.

What is stored, and where

Scenarios and settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded to us.
You can delete them at any time under Settings › Data › Delete all local data, or by clearing the site data in your browser.
To work offline, a service worker keeps a copy of the app's own files in your browser cache, together with the dark basemap and elevation tiles of the areas you view or download. You can clear these under Settings › Map › Clear map cache.

iPhone and iPad app

The App Store version contains the same app, bundled on your device. It has no analytics at all, and it does not cache map tiles for offline use. Scenarios are stored on the device. Exported files and share links leave the app only through the iOS share sheet, to the destination you choose. The permissions it may ask for are the camera or photo library (to place a sketch on the map) and saving images to Photos; they are used only when you take those actions.

Share links

A share link carries the scenario inside the address, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to our server. Anyone who has the link can open the scenario, and any service you paste the link into (a chat app, for example) can see it. Overlay images are not included in share links.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare, it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not fingerprint visitors by IP address or browser. We only see totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and browser types, never individual visitors. We use no other analytics or tracking.

Third-party map services

Some map data is loaded straight from your browser to other providers. Those providers see your IP address and which map area you request, under their own privacy policies:

Elevation (3D terrain, hillshade, line of sight): AWS Terrain Tiles on Amazon S3

Donations

The Donate button under Settings › About opens Buy Me a Coffee in a new tab. Nothing is loaded from Buy Me a Coffee until you click it. Payment details you enter there are handled by Buy Me a Coffee and Stripe under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date above will change with it.

Çevrimdışı çalışabilmek için bir servis çalışanı uygulamanın kendi dosyalarının ve gezdiğin ya da indirdiğin alanların koyu altlık ve yükseklik karolarının kopyasını tarayıcı önbelleğinde tutar. Bunları Ayarlar › Harita › Harita önbelleğini temizle ile silebilirsin.

iPhone ve iPad uygulaması

App Store sürümü aynı uygulamanın cihaza gömülü halidir. Hiçbir istatistik aracı içermez ve harita karolarını çevrimdışı kullanım için saklamaz. Senaryolar cihazda saklanır. Dışa aktarılan dosyalar ve paylaşım linkleri uygulamadan yalnızca iOS paylaş menüsüyle, senin seçtiğin yere çıkar. İsteyebileceği izinler kamera ya da fotoğraf arşivi (haritaya kroki yerleştirmek için) ve Fotoğraflar'a görsel kaydetmektir; yalnızca sen o işlemi yaptığında kullanılır.

Paylaşım linkleri

Paylaşım linki senaryoyu adresin içinde, # işaretinden sonra taşır. Tarayıcılar bu kısmı sunucumuza göndermez. Linke sahip olan herkes senaryoyu açabilir; linki yapıştırdığın servisler (ör. bir mesajlaşma uygulaması) de görebilir. Kroki görselleri linke girmez.

Barındırma

Site Cloudflare üzerinden sunulur. Her web barındırıcısı gibi Cloudflare da siteyi ulaştırmak ve korumak için IP adresi ve tarayıcı türü gibi teknik istek verilerini işler. Ziyaretleri saymak için Cloudflare Web Analytics kullanıyoruz. Cloudflare'a göre bu araç çerez kullanmaz, tarayıcına bir şey kaydetmez ve ziyaretçileri IP adresinden ya da tarayıcısından tanımaya çalışmaz. Biz yalnızca sayfa görüntüleme, gelinen site, ülke ve tarayıcı türü gibi toplam sayıları görürüz, tek tek ziyaretçileri asla görmeyiz. Başka bir istatistik ya da izleme aracı kullanmıyoruz.

Üçüncü taraf harita servisleri

Bazı harita verileri tarayıcından doğrudan başka sağlayıcılardan yüklenir. Bu sağlayıcılar kendi gizlilik politikaları çerçevesinde IP adresini ve istenen harita alanını görür:

Bağış

Ayarlar › Hakkında'daki Bağış yap düğmesi Buy Me a Coffee sayfasını yeni sekmede açar. Düğmeye tıklamadıkça Buy Me a Coffee'den hiçbir şey yüklenmez. Orada girdiğin ödeme bilgilerini Buy Me a Coffee ve Stripe kendi gizlilik politikalarıyla işler; kart bilgilerini biz hiç görmeyiz.

Çocuklar

Uygulama çocuklara yönelik değildir ve kimseden kişisel veri toplamaz.
